DE PERE - St. Norbert College was swept by Lake Forest College in a Midwest Conference doubleheader at Miron Construction Field at Mel Nicks Sports Complex. The Foresters topped the Green Knights 4-2 and 9-0.

St. Norbert was locked in a 2-2 tie through six innings with the Foresters, who clinched the outright MWC title with the two wins. The Foresters scored twice in the top of the seventh inning to earn the win.

St. Norbert took a 1-0 lead in the first inning after Emily Laufer doubled in Gina Mastrodomenico. That lead held up until the fifth inning when Lake Forest scored twice, but the Green Knights tied the game in the bottom of the inning when Kaitlyn Amundson scored on an error.

Mastrodomenico was 2-for-3 for the Green Knights, including a double. Lexi LeCalsey took the loss, allowing six hits and four walks with one strikeout in a complete-game effort.

In the nightcap, St. Norbert couldn't solve Lake Forest pitcher Jenny McTague, who spun a no-hitter. McTague did not walk a batter and struck out one.

Kasey Roff took the loss for the Green Knights, allowing seven hits and five runs in three innings pitched.
