St. Norbert Bounces Back With Two Wins at St. Mary's Tournament

WINONA, Minn. - St. Norbert College answered a pair of losses on the first day of the St. Mary's University Sugar Loaf Classic with two wins on Day 2, topping Finlandia University 25-13, 20-25, 25-17, 25-9 and St. Catherine Univ. 25-19, 25-13, 25-14.

St. Norbert (2-2) hit .304 against Finlandia, with 55 kills and 17 errors in 125 attempts. Hannah Johnshoy led the attack with 14 kills, followed by 12 kills from Lexie Van Hiel and 10 from Anika Johnson. Emily Rohloff had 30 assists while Anna Berghoefer had 11.

Aubree Antosch led the back row with 23 digs. Johnson and Johnshoy had three blocks apiece, while Halie Ferry had four service aces.

Against St. Catherine's, the Wildcats held an 11-1 lead in the first set but the Green Knights charged back to take the set and the match sweep.

Johnshoy led the offense with nine kills, while Ferry and Johnson had six apiece. The Green Knights hit .121 for the match, posting 32 kills against 20 errors in 99 attempts. Rohloff had 15 assists and Berghoefer 10.

Ferry led the defense with 14 digs, while Antosch added 12. Johnson also had four blocks. Rohloff and Emily Kilmer had three service aces apiece.

Rohloff was named to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the tournament.
