St. Norbert Succumbs In Five Sets to No. 24 Millikin

WHITEWATER - St. Norbert College won the first two sets against nationally ranked Millikin University but couldn't hold on in a 3-2 loss in the Green Knights' first match in the UW-Whitewater Tournament.

The Green Knights (5-10) fell to the Big Blue (11-4) by a 22-25, 24-26, 25-16, 25-18, 15-11 score. St. Norbert fell to 2-4 in five-set matches this season.

Halie Ferry had 20 kills to lead a St. Norbert offense that hit .194 for the match, with 56 kills and 24 errors in 165 attempts. Hannah Johnshoy added 14 kills, while Ali Rueter and Anika Johnson both had 10 kills apiece.

Anna Berghoefer had 26 assists while Emily Rohloff added 23 assists.

Jaisah Lee led the back row with 17 digs, while Aubree Antosch added 13. Rueter had 11 digs and Ferry 10. Lee also added three service aces.

Rueter and Lexie Van Hiel both had four blocks apiece.

Millikin finished the match hitting .251, with 68 kills and 25 errors in 171 attempts.
