Two Relays Named 2016 Accusplit Relays of the Year by USTFCCCA

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had two relays named 2016 Division III Accusplit Relays of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Green Knights' distance medley relay and sprint medley relay were tabbed as Relays of the Year. Eight relays were awarded for Division III women, with St. Norbert the only school to earn two Relay of the Year awards.

St. Norbert's sprint medley relay of Sarah Duff, Angel Hon, Clarissa Jauregui and Brittany Kozlowski had the top time in Division III with a mark of 4:06.90, set this past April at the Drake Relays.

The Green Knights' distance medley relay of Taylor Domro, Duff, Jauregui and Kozlowski won the event at the Drake Relays with a time of 11:44.93. It was St. Norbert's first-ever event championship at the Drake Relays.

St. Norbert coach Don Augustine will accept the awards at the 2016 USTFCCCA Convention in December in Orlando, Fla.
