Green Knights Close Out MWC Slate With Five-Set Win Over Beloit

BELOIT - St. Norbert College was extended to five sets but finished out a 3-2 win over Beloit College in the Green Knights' Midwest Conference finale at Flood Arena.

The Green Knights (13-13, 8-1) ended up putting away the Buccaneers (9-15, 0-9) down the stretch with a 25-22, 20-25, 25-13, 20-25, 15-8 victory.

St. Norbert battled through 35 attacking errors to get the win. The Green Knights registered 59 kills in 170 attempts for a .141 hitting percentage.

Anika Johnson posted a match-high 16 kills against two errors in 22 attempts for a whopping .636 hitting percentage. Hannah Johnshoy added 14 kills and Halie Ferry 10.

Emily Rohloff had 29 assists and Anna Berghoefer 28 assists.

Aubree Antosch had team-high 21 digs with Jaisah Lee adding 13. Rohloff had 12 digs and Ferry 10. Lexie Van Hiel had two blocks.

Beloit hit .062 with 38 kills and 28 errors in 160 attempts. Amanda Baran had a team-high 12 kills for the Buccaneers.
