Three Green Knights Named All-MWC

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had three women's soccer players named All-Midwest Conference.
Sophomore forward/midfielder Monica Stephans was St. Norbert's lone first-team All-MWC selection. Junior midfielder Sarah Bowles and senior goalkeeper Maddie Plinska were second-team All-MWC honorees.
Stephans was a first-team All-MWC selection for the second consecutive year, while Bowles was a second-team All-MWC choice for the third straight season.
Stephans, a Hartford native, led St. Norbert in scoring this season with 17 points. Stephans finished the year with six goals and a team-high five assists. She also had five game-winning goals.
Bowles, a Libertyville, Ill., native, played in 15 games and stabilized a defense that allowed just seven goals in nine Midwest Conference games.
Plinska, a Seymour native, played in all 18 games and finished the season with a 9-8-1 record with a 1.06 goals against average and .826 save percentage.
