St. Norbert Suffers Sweep at Hands of Falcons

MEQUON - St. Norbert College suffered a sweep in its weekend Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series against Concordia University Wisconsin with a 3-0 setback at Ozaukee Ice Center.
The Green Knights outshot the Falcons 33-21 but were stymied by Concordia goaltender Nick Malvin, who turned away all 33 shots.
St. Norbert and Concordia were scoreless until the 19:58 mark of the second period, when the Falcons' Connor Hogg scored.
The Falcons added a pair of empty-net goals late in the game by Josh Adkins and Hogg.
Tony Kujava made 18 saves for the Green Knights, who were 0-for-4 on the power play. Concordia was 0-for-2.
