Green Knights Finish Third at UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College finished in third place at the UW-Stevens Point Big Dog Invitational. The Green Knights totaled 80 points to finish behind Stevens Point's 204 points and UW-Stout's 130 points.
Erin Lang won the triple jump with a distance of 33 feet 11 1/4 inches.
The St. Norbert distance medley relay of Brittany Kozlowski, Sarah Duff, Haley Joosten and Erin Artz won with a time of 12:00.66. The 4x400-meter relay of Clarissa Jauregui, Joosten, Maddie LeBrun and Kozlowski was second with a time of 3:59.91.
Kristina Herman won the shot put with a distance of 41-7. Savanna Smith was third with a distance of 40-5, while Hannah Kruse was seventh at 36-2 3/4. Kruse placed sixth in the weight throw at 43-5 1/4, while Smith was eighth in 41-8 3/4.
Mekenzie Mattes placed fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.35 seconds.
Alyssa Wegner was fifth in the 1-mile run in 5:34.09, while Abby Janto was seventh in 5:39.52.
Grace Mickelson was sixth in the pole vault with a height of 9-5 1/4, while Kirsten Carrigan was seventh with the same clearance.
Artz and Megan Cibulka were seventh and eighth, respectively, in the 800-meter run with times of 2:26.22 and 2:27.31. Kelly Heniff was seventh in the 3,000-meter run in 11:41.91.
Nicole Barth was eighth in the 400-meter dash in 1:04.59.
St. Norbert also had a handful of athletes compete at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational. Samantha Morateck led the contingent with a top showing in the high jump at 5-4 1/2.
