DE PERE - St. Norbert College advanced to its 11th NCAA Division III Frozen Four in the last 15 years following a pulsating 4-3 overtime win over Augsburg College in a NCAA Tournament quarterfinal at Cornerstone Community Center.

The Green Knights (22-5-1) moved on thanks to Roman Uchyn's goal at the 13:54 mark of overtime. Uchyn took a pass out front from Pijus Rulevicius, who was at the face-off circle, and puffed the net on a one-time chance to send St. Norbert to the Frozen Four in Utica, N.Y.

St. Norbert will face Trinity (Conn.) College in a national semifinal Friday at Utica Memorial Auditorium. Norwich University and Adrian College play in the other semifinal.

The Green Knights found themselves swimming against the tide most of the game thanks to a game Augsburg squad that had controlled play the first eight minutes. The Auggies outshot St. Norbert 9-1 in the first eight minutes, capped off by Corbin Chapman's goal at 8:03. Chapman's goal held up through the end of the first period, which saw the Auggies outshot St. Norbert 14-6.

St. Norbert bounced back early in the second period when Luke Karakas scored at 6:26. The Auggies (17-5-6) countered with a goal by Trevor Stewart at 11:14 for a 2-1 lead that would last until late in the period.

The Green Knights knotted the score at 2-2 with 3.6 seconds remaining in the period when Dominick Sacco found Rulevicius streaking unmarked down the middle. Rulevicius finished for his sixth goal of the season.

St. Norbert looked to be in good shape when Steven Phillips scored his ninth goal of the season with a marker at 11:55 of the third period, but Augsburg came again with a power-play goal by Chapman at 14:33.

Rulevicius finished with St. Norbert's only multi-point game with two points, while Chapman added an assist for a three-point game for the Auggies.

Augsburg outshot St. Norbert 34-26. T.J. Black made 31 saves for the Green Knights, while Nick Schmit made 22 stops for the Auggies.

Augsburg was 1-for-4 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 0-for-5.
