Bier Named Assistant Coach

DE PERE - Sarah Bier has been named an assistant coach on the St. Norbert College women's hockey staff, head coach Meredith Roth announced.

Bier, whose position is part-time, is coming off a four-year playing career at fellow Northern Collegiate Hockey Association school Marian University. In 104 career games with the Sabres, Bier scored 19 goals and 24 assists for 43 points.

Bier, a Barnhart, Mo., captain, was the Sabres' captain as a junior and senior.
