St. Norbert Tumbles at UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College couldn't generate any scoring and lost 6-0 to UW-Stevens Point in a non-conference match at Point Soccer Bowl.

The Green Knights (1-1) were outshot just 10-8, but six of the Pointer shots crossed the goal line. St. Norbert also held an 11-1 edge in corner kicks.

Maddy Hardyman and Meaghan Ambelang scored to give Stevens Point a 2-0 halftime lead. Gracie Wendels scored twice while Alexis Petersen and Amanda Maestas scored in the second half for the Pointers.

Ally Magiera made one save for St. Norbert, while McKenna Lacy did not face a shot on goal in relief. Sarah Peplinski made five saves for the Pointers.
