Dyksterhouse Wins Benedictine Fall Invite

WEST CHICAGO, Ill - Jessica Dyksterhouse won medalist honors as St. Norbert College placed third in the Benedictine University Invitational at St. Andrews Golf Course.

Dyksterhouse turned in scores of 79-82--161 to win the 36-hole event and top a field of 23 golfers. The Green Knights finished third with a score of 347-345--692. North Central College won the team title with a score of 346-334--680.

Elizabeth Bobinski placed sixth with a score of 87-84--171, while Amy Holzer tied for ninth with a score of 88-88--176. Kelsey Motto tied for 15th carding a 93-91--184, while Amy Smits was tied for 18th with a 95-100--195.

St. Norbert also sent a quintet to the Marian University Invitational, where the Green Knights finished third out of nine teams with a 382-380--762. A total of 64 golfers competed.

Zjennai Vang was second with an 89-81--168, two strokes behind champion Tayler Wise of Marian University, who shot 85-83--168.

Taylor Obry finished 15th with a 90-100--190, while Kayley Sjoholm was 20th at 98-99--193. Caitlin Noseworthy was 25th with a 109-100--209, while Sophie King was 30th with a 105-110--215.
