St. Norbert Clinches MWC Tournament Berth

DE PERE - St. Norbert College clinched a berth in the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament with a 3-1 win over Grinnell College at Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center.

St. Norbert tripped the Pioneers (15-8, 4-4 MWC) by scores of 25-14, 25-10, 23-25, 25-16.

The Green Knights (11-13, 7-1) clinched a spot for the 13th consecutive season. St. Norbert is the only school to advance to the MWC Tournament in all 13 years of its existence.

St. Norbert hit a robust .305, its second-highest percentage of the season. The Green Knights hammered 61 kills against 18 errors in 141 attempts. Halie Ferry had 16 kills, while Brooke Siebert added 13 kills and Lexie Van Hiel had 12 kils. Emily Rohloff totaled 35 assists, while Danielle Dolan added 17 assists. Ferry and Jaisah Lee had two service aces each.

Lee led the St. Norbert defense with 19 digs, while Ferry had 12 digs and Maddy Miller 11 digs. Van Hiel totaled nine blocks, including three solos. Siebert added three blocks, while Dolan and Ferry had two apiece.

Grinnell hit .155 for the match, with Kaylin Kuhn netting a team-high 17 kills.
