Green Knights Finish In Second Place In MWC

DE PERE - St. Norbert College finished in second place in the Midwest Conference race after a 3-0 win over Beloit Collgee at Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center.

The Green Knights (12-13, 8-1 MWC) topped the Buccaneers 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

St. Norbert was in control throughout the match, hitting .242. The Green Knights converted 35 kills in 95 attempts against 12 errors. Halie Ferry finished with 13 kills, while Hanna Strohm had seven kills, Lexie Van Hiel six kills and Brooke Siebert five kills. Anna Berghoefer finished with 22 assists, while Emily Rohloff added 10 assists.

The Green Knights totaled nine service aces. McCoy Mix had three aces, while Ferry and Danielle Dolan had two apiece.

Van Hiel and Ferry had three blocks apiece. Ferry and Maddy Miller shared the team lead in digs with eight each.

Beloit hit .062 for the match, with 23 kills and 18 errors in 80 attempts. Aryssa Harris and Jaylan Dunn had five kills apiece.
