St. Norbert Falls Late at UW-Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College yielded a late goal leading to a 2-1 setback to UW-Stevens Point in a non-conference game at Ice Hawks Arena.
The Green Knights (0-2) took the early lead when Rebecka Olsson scored at the 16:15 mark of the first period, with Rachael Goodrow and Lauren Michael assisting.
Stevens Point (1-1-1) tied it up when Lexi Englund scored at 8:18 of the second period. The game would remain 1-1 until Ellie Punnett scored for the Pointers with 3:48 remaining.
St. Norbert had 1 minute 20 seconds of extra-attacker time but couldn't force overtime.
Stevens Point outshot St. Norbert 38-15. Leigh Grall made 36 saves for the Green Knights, while Lisa Fowle made 14 stops for the Pointers.
The Pointers were 0-for-3 on the power play, while St. Norbert did not have a power-play chance.
