St. Norbert Falls to Concordia

DE PERE - St. Norbert College outshot Concordia University Wisconsin but lost a 3-1 decision in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.

The Green Knights (4-3-1, 4-1-1 NCHA) held a 29-18 shots advantage on the Falcons (5-3, 4-2), who closed out the game with three unanswered goals.

St. Norbert went to the pay window right away with a goal by Emily Bondrager at the 2:08 mark of the first period, with Mary Laken and Malin Hoglund assisting.

The Falcons would tie the game at 1-1 when Emily Godwin scored at 18:30 of the first period.

Concordia scored twice in the second period on markers by Natasha Wanless at 5:00 and Jossa Danis at 8:56, the latter on the power play.

Christina Pattengale made 28 saves for Concordia, while Brianna Kelly made 15 stops for St. Norbert. The Falcons were 1-for-3 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 0-for-1.
