DE PERE - St. Norbert College fought back from a two-goal deficit at second intermission to salvage a 2-2 tie with Manhattanville College in a non-conference game at Cornerstone Community Center.

The Green Knights (6-0-1), ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com and D3hockey.com Division III polls, found themselves trailing 2-0 after two periods.

Manhattanville (3-1-2) enjoyed a fast-paced first period, outshooting the Green Knights 21-13 in the first 20 minutes. The Valiants took a 1-0 lead with a power-play goal by Eric Berglund at the 12:02 mark. Manhattanville couldn't add to its lead despite having a major power-play opportunity toward the end of the period.

The Valiants pushed ahead 2-0 midway through the second period on a goal by Matt Lippa at 10:21, 17 seconds after a power play expired for Manhattanville.

St. Norbert began its charge back when Roman Uchyn finished a power-play chance just 2:06 into the third period. The Green Knights appeared to have tied the game with about 7 minutes remaining, but a shot that got behind Manhanttanville goaltender Tyler Feaver was ruled to have rolled along the goal line, but not across.

Nevertheless, St. Norbert got the game-tying marker on a power-play goal with four minutes remaining on a score by Keegan Milligan.

Manhattanville had the only shot on goal in overtime.

Milligan also had an assist for a two-point game for the Green Knights.

St. Norbert outshot Manhattanville 43-37. The Green Knights were 2-for-4 on the power play, while Manhattanville was 1-for-3.
