DE PERE - St. Norbert College returned from a two-week hiatus and topped Beloit College 2-0 and 11-0 in Midwest Conference games at Miron Construction Field.

The Green Knights (6-10, 2-0 MWC) last played March 28 and had not played in the two weeks since due to poor weather conditions in northern Wisconsin.

St. Norbert got all the runs it would need in the opener in the second inning. Emma Molenhouse's sacrifice fly brought in Lexy Campshure, while Brianna Braeger's triple plated Alyssa Sikora.

Molenhouse twirled a four-hit shutout. She did not walk a batter while striking out four. The Buccaneers' Alyssa Boltik was the hard-luck loser, allowing just five hits with two walks and three strikeouts.

In the nightcap, St. Norbert banged out 13 hits en route to the victory.

The Green Knights scored five runs on seven hits in the bottom of the first inning. Amanda Diedrich had an RBI single, followed by a two-run double off the bat of Leigh Grall. Morgan Moxon closed out the scoring with a two-run single.

St. Norbert added two runs in the third inning on a two-run double by Kelsey Berna. The Green Knights added four runs in the fourth inning. Diedrich drove in a run with a double, while Sikora followed with a three-run home run.

Diedrich, Grall, Sikora, Moxon, Berna and Braeger all had two hits apiece. Sikora had three runs batted in, while Diedrich, Grall, Moxon and Berna had two apiece.

Sydney Pfotenhauer scattered six hits in the five-inning complete game, striking out four without a walk.
