Green Knights Third at St. Norbert Meet

DE PERE - St. Norbert College placed third out of seven teams at the St. Norbert Quadrangular at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights scored 136 1/2 points to finish behind Carthage College's 200 points and Carroll University's 140 points.

Sarah Parbs was first in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:42.24, while Danielle Harris was second in 12:03.97. Alyssa Wegner was fifth in 12:38.75. Haidyn Mueller was first in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.84 seconds, while Elisabeth Klumpyan finished first in the 5,000-meter run in 20:06.13. The St. Norbert 4x100-meter relay also was first in 51.46 seconds.

Maddie LeBrun was second in the 200-meter dash and third in the 100-meter dash with times of 27.17 and 13.15 seconds, respectively.

Brianne Barta was third in the 400-meter dash in 1:02.48 and was fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.16 seconds. Tatiana Johnson was third in the 800-meter run in 2:28.44. Abby Janto finished third in the 3,000-meter run in 11:23.99. Anna Giblin was fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.76 seconds.

St. Norbert had three of the top seven slots in the javelin throw. Harris was fourth (31.12 meters), Taylor Schmid seventh (27.19) and Alex Socha eighth (25.89).

Morgan Pinardi was third (10.35) and Brittany Wagner seventh (9.55) in the triple jump. Hayley Winzenried was fourth (1.50) and Emmy Larson seventh (1.45) in the high jump. Larson was also seventh in the long jump (4.80). Savanna Smith was seventh (11.63) and Kristina Herman (11.45) eighth in the shot put, while Smith was eighth in the hammer throw at 42.10 meters.

Sydney Olund was fifth in the 200-meer dash in 28.25 seconds and added an eighth-place finish in the 100-meter dash in 13.70 seconds.
