Green Knights Earn AVCA Team Academic Award

DE PERE - St. Norbert College's women's volleyball team was cited for outstanding achievement in the classroom with a Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better during the 2017-18 academic year. In order to earn a Team Academic Award, institutions in the NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA and NFHSA must count the grade point averages of all student-athletes who competed during the 2017-18 season.

St. Norbert was among 173 NCAA Division III programs receiving the honor. A total of 11 team members were also named Academic All-Midwest Conference after posting grade point averages of at least 3.33 during the 2017-18 academic year.
