MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College used a quick start as the impetus behind a 2-0 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering in a non-conference game at Viets Field.
The Green Knights led virtually the entire match, scoring just 2 minutes 26 seconds in on a Drake Vandermause goal off a header from a Dominic DeMaria free kick. St. Norbert doubled its lead when Ben Prange converted a penalty-kick chance at 7:46.
The two-goal lead would hold up until two seconds remained, when Konrad Knap's long free kick found its way into the cage.
St. Norbert and MSOE held a 10-10 stalemate in shots, while the Green Knights had a 7-3 edge in corner kicks. There were a total of 37 fouls, with St. Norbert whistled for 21.
Josh Koleske made three saves for the Green Knights, while Patrick Grund made two stops for the Raiders.
