St. Norbert Falls Twice in Twin Cities

ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Norbert College dropped a pair of matches in the University of Northwestern Kathryne Pals Legacy Invitational at Ericksen Center. The Green Knights lost to Bethel University and Buena Vista University both by 3-1 scores.

St. Norbert won the first set but Bethel responded with wins in the last three sets to claim the win 20-25, 25-13, 25-21, 25-22.

Grace Baumann led the Green Knights with 15 kills, while Halie Ferry added 13 kills and Lexie Van Hiel 10. St. Norbert hit .201 with 52 kills and 17 errors in 174 swings. Danielle Dolan and Emily Rohloff had 23 assists apiece.

Jaisah Lee finished with 28 digs, while Baumann posted 20. Ferry added 15 digs and Maddy Miller 11 digs. Van Hiel finished with three blocks.

Buena Vista topped the Green Knights 25-18, 25-21, 23-25, 25-15. St. Norbert hit .161 (43-21-137) and couldn't slow down the Beavers, who hit .293 (60-19-140).

Van Hiel had a team-high nine kills, while Haley Bartz added eight. Rohloff had 15 assists and Dolan 12.

Lee finished with 19 assists.
