Green Knights Face UW-Whitewater

WHITEWATER - St. Norbert College continued its march through five consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference by facing UW-Whitewater, falling to the Warhawks 25-16, 25-13, 25-17 in a non-conference match at Russell Arena.

The Green Knights (4-8) are 2-2 through the first four matches against the WIAC. St. Norbert closes out the gauntlet with a match at 1 p.m. Saturday at UW-La Crosse.

St. Norbert hit .114 in the match, with 24 kills against 14 errors in 88 attempts. Lexie Van Hiel had six kills, while Haley Bartz and Grace Baumann had five kills apiece. Emily Rohloff finished with 19 assists.

Halie Ferry and Maddy Miller led the defense with nine digs apiece. Van Hiel added two blocks.

Whitewater hit .348, with 44 kills against 12 errors in 92 attempts.
