Green Knights Win Lake Forest Invitational

NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. - St. Norbert College won its second event in three starts this season by winning the Lake Forest College Invitational at Foss Park Golf Course.

The Green Knights registered 28 points to handily claim the team title. Harper College was second with 44 points, while Lake Forest was third with 60 points.

Abby Janto claimed her first individual title by covering the 6,000-meter route just under 23 minutes 49 seconds. Joyana Tarsa was third in 24:26, while Erin Sorg was seventh in 25:16.

Lauren Talabac placed eighth in 25:24, while Graceanne Tarsa closed out the team scoring with a ninth-place showing in 25:24.

Alex Bruley finished 11th in 25:46 and Carolyn Neerdaels was 14th in 26:06.
