Swajanen Leads St. Norbert at Gustavus Invitational

ST. PETER, Minn. - St. Norbert College freshman Hannah Swajanen picked up a pair of consolation titles at the ITA Midwest Regional/Gustavus Fall Invite at Gustavus Adolphus College.

Swajanen won the consolation titles in the No. 3 singles draw and teamed with Erin Vits to win the No. 3 doubles draw.

Swajanen picked up three wins in the singles consolation bracket, climaxing with a 9-8 win over St. Catherine University's Kylee Funk 9-8. Swajanen and Vits then picked up three wins in their doubles consolation bracket, finishing off Emily Strezishar and Isabella Kranz by an 8-1 count for their final win.

Morgan Moxon and Hannah Keller advanced to the consolation final at No. 4 before succumbing to Wartburg College's Gabby Olejniczak and Ambriel Jacobs by an 8-6 score.

Vits reached the championship match of the No. 4 singles draw in the Fall Invite before dropping a 6-3, 6-2 matchup to Edgewood College's Kai Heineman.
