DE PERE - St. Norbert College picked up its second win with a late goal in as many nights in a heartstopping 1-0 win over UW-Platteville in a non-conference match at Schneider Stadium in a matchup of nationally ranked foes.

Freshman Tiernan Guinn finished a rebound into an open net with 33 seconds remaining to keep the Green Knights, ranked No. 14 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Poll, unbeaten at 11-0-1. Platteville, now 7-1-1, is ranked No. 22.

The goal came on a late rush by Seth Boldt, who got around the flank of the Platteville defense. Boldt managed to get a shot off that beat goalkeeper Nate Miller, but the ball hit the post. The ball caromed right back out to Guinn, who finished into the empty cage for the goal.

Neither team had a Grade-A scoring chance in the match until late, and each side had stretches where it controlled play. The Green Knights outshot the Pioneers 11-8 and had a scant 3-2 edge in corner kicks. Platteville had 15 fouls to St. Norbert's 10.

Ben Holtzen made four saves in goal for the Green Knights for his first shutout of the season. Miller made four stops for Platteville.
