Green Knights Sweep Foresters

DE PERE - St. Norbert College took control of second place in the Midwest Conference standings with a 3-0 win over Lake Forest College at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center. The Green Knights topped the Foresters 25-16, 25-21, 25-20.

St. Norbert (9-11, 5-1 MWC) turned in a brilliant first set, getting 13 kills against one error in 28 attempts. The Green Knights then rallied from an 18-15 deficit in the third set to seal the victory.

The Green Knights hit .312 for the match, getting 43 kills with 13 errors in 96 attempts. Grace Baumann led the way with 17 kills, while Halie Ferry also reached double digits with 10 kills. Emily Rohloff had 23 assists and Danielle Dolan 15.

Rohloff also paced the defense with 11 digs, while Baumann added 10 and Ferry finished with nine. Ferry also had two service aces.

Lake Forest hit .129, getting 32 kills with 19 errors in 101 attempts. Grace Larson and Isabel Donnelly had nine kills apiece for the Foresters (10-13, 3-2).
