DE PERE - St. Norbert College scored twice in the last 12 minutes of the match to shock Grinnell College in a 2-1 Midwest Conference victory at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (4-9, 3-2 MWC) trailed most of the match after Grinnell (6-5-1, 4-2) took an early lead when the Pioneers' Jordan Maddaus redirected a cross at the 19:43 mark.

St. Norbert couldn't get on the scoreboard until a surge of offense late in the game. The Green Knights squared the match 1-1 at 78:24 when Monica Stephans' corner kick was flicked home by Morgan Kelly for her first goal of the season. St. Norbert then generated another offensive push, resulting in Grinnell fouling a Green Knights near the goal line. Stephans cashed in the ensuing penalty kick at 84:53, her fourth goal of the season. The St. Norbert defense held firm in the final five minutes to hold on for the win.

The Green Knights held a 15-10 advantage in shots, including 10-5 in the decisive second half. Grinnell held a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.

Ally Magiera made three saves for the Green Knights, while Elizabeth Hunt made five stops for the Pioneers.
