St. Norbert Splits at Edgewood Quad

MADISON - St. Norbert College split a pair of non-conference matches at the Edgewood College Quad to close out the regular season. The Green Knights fell to Edgewood 3-2 before bouncing back to drop Lakeland University 3-1 at the Todd Wehr Edgedome.

St. Norbert (12-14) succumbed to Edgewood 22-25, 25-18, 25-23, 16-25, 15-7. The Green Knights hit .115 in the match, getting 41 kills against 24 errors in 148 attempts.

Hanna Strohm led St. Norbert with 14 kills, while Lexie Van Hiel added eight kills and Sarah Sprout six. Emily Rohloff had 20 assists and Danielle Dolan 12 assists. Jessica Geurts posted five service aces.

Maddy Miller dug out a match-high 33 digs. Strohm finished with eight blocks, while Geurts added five.

The Green Knights rebounded to defeat a 20-10 Lakeland outfit by a 21-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-23 score. St. Norbert hit .269, with 64 kills against 17 errors in 175 attempts.

Grace Baumann finished with 20 kills, while Halie Ferry added 14, Strohm 12 and Van Hiel 10. Rohloff finished with 37 assists, while Dolan added 17.

Jaisah Lee finished with 29 digs, while Ferry had 17 and Baumann and Rohloff 13 apiece. Van Hiel totaled five blocks.
