Green Knights Stalemate With Foresters

DE PERE - St. Norbert College and Lake Forest College exchanged a pair of goals late in regulation and settled for a 1-1 tie in a Midwest Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (7-10-1, 6-2-1 MWC) scored first, when Madalyn Sanderfoot ripped a strong 30-yard shot into the top of the cage at the 75:57 mark. It was Sanderfoot's 11th goal of the season. Monica Stephans was credited with the assist.

Lake Forest (8-9-1, 4-4-1) got the equalizer at 86:36 when Natalie Dixon weaved her way through the defense and scored.

The Foresters held a 17-10 edge in shots, while the Green Knights had a 6-3 nod in corner kicks. Ally Magiera made seven saves for the Green Knights, while Maggie Kersting made two saves for the Foresters.
