St. Norbert Settles for Tie at Concordia

MEQUON - St. Norbert College had to settle for a 2-2 tie with Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Ozaukee Ice Center.

The Green Knights and Falcons battled to a scoreless first two periods before the visitor cracked the ice with a Lauren Michael goal just 58 seconds into the third period, her fifth marker of the year. St. Norbert pushed out to a 2-0 lead on an Emily Boyce goal at 4:14 of the third period, her first of the season.

Concordia would answer moments later, halving its deficit with a goal from Natasha Wanless at the 5:54 mark. The Falcons would tie the score at 12:35 on an Ally Hull score.

The Falcons outshot the Green Knights 2-1 in the five-minute overtime.

Letti Stafford had two assists for a multi-point game for the Green Knights.

Concordia outshot St. Norbert 23-20. Audrey Moore made 21 saves for the Green Knights, while Christina Pattengale made 18 saves for the Falcons.

St. Norbert was 0-for-4 on the power play while Concordia was 0-for-3.
