Green Knights Fall to Saints in Series Finale

DULUTH, Minn. - St. Norbert College lost the second game of a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series 4-1 to College of St. Scholastica at Mars Lakeview Arena.
The Saints struck first with a goal by Taylor Thompson 16 seconds into the game. St. Norbert answered with a power-play goal from Jessica Schlaff at 3:14 of the first period. Schlaff's fourth goal of the season was assisted by Libby Barbato and Libbie Doney. St. Scholastica would counter just 30 seconds later on a goal by Amber Tilander.
St. Scholastica got some breathing room with a pair of second-period goals. Rachel Anderson scored at 10:20 and Tilander at 14:30.
St. Norbert outshot St. Scholastica 27-22. Audrey Moore made 18 saves for the Green Knights, while Lori Huseby made 21 saves in 51:07 of action to get the win for the Saints.
St. Norbert was 1-for-2 on the power play, while St. Scholastica was 0-for-4.
