Green Knights Blanked By UW-Eau Claire

EAU CLAIRE - St. Norbert College couldn't generate much offense in a 7-0 loss to nationally ranked UW-Eau Claire in a non-conference game at Hobbs Ice Center.

The Green Knights were outshot 45-12.

Eau Claire, ranked No. 10 in the USCHO.com Division III Poll, got three goals in each of the first two periods, including two by Courtney Wittig.

Anais Aurard made 38 saves for St. Norbert, while Erin Connolly made 12 stops for the Blugolds. The Green Knights were 0-for-3 on the power play, while Eau Claire did not have a power-play chance.
