STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College senior forward Jessica Schlaff tied a school record with four goals as the Green Knights charged to a 6-3 win over UW-Stevens Point in a non-conference game at Ice Hawks Arena.

Schlaff scored a pair of goals in each of the first two periods as the Green Knights led 6-2 after two periods. Schlaff's goal total was just the third time in St. Norbert history a player has puffed the net four times in one game, matching Ali Parker against Finlandia University on Feb. 21, 2014 and Henriette Ostergaard against Marian University on Dec. 10, 2010.

Stevens Point scored the game's first goal, with Alex Grubbs scoring at 13:18 of the first period. Schlaff countered twice to put the Green Knights ahead 2-1 at first intermission. Schlaff scored a power-play goal at 13:54 followed by an even-strength tally at 16:03.

The Pointers pulled even at 1:58 of the secod period on a Sophie Regovic goal, but the Green Knights would break the game open with four straight goals. Emelia Edmondson scored at 4:55 to put St. Norbert back out front. Libbie Doney then scored at the 8-minute mark for a two-goal advantage. Schlaff scored at 11:48 and then added an unassisted empty-net goal at 19:50 to complete the uprising.

Morgan Oettinger scored for Stevens Point at 1:40 of the third period to close out the scoring.

Schlaff's four-point game matched a career high point total, equaling a four-assist game against Finlandia on Feb. 10, 2017. Doney added two assists for a career-high three-point game, while Lisa Lenell's three assists were also a career-high point total.

Stevens Point outshot St. Norbert 23-21, but the Green Knights held a 19-10 shots edge in the first two periods. Audrey Moore turned away 20 shots in goal for the Green Knights. Sydney Conley made nine saves in nearly 32 minutes, while Olivia Schultz made six stops in relief for the Pointers.

St. Norbert was 1-for-4 on the power play, while Stevens Point was 0-for-3.
