School Records Tumble for Green Knights

OSHKOSH - St. Norbert College reset a pair of school records at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge at Kolf Sports Center.

The Green Knights got a blistering time of 3:54.20 in the 4x400-meter relay to finish second to NCAA Division II Northern Michigan University. The quartet of Sarah Duff, Morgan McClone, Cora Purdue and Maddie Lebrun finished with a time currently the second-fastest in Division III this season. The old record of 3:55.75 stood since 2009.

Haidyn Mueller finished in sixth place in the 60-meter hurdles but finished with a new St. Norbert standard of 9.27 seconds, breaking her old school record of 9.34 seconds set two years ago.

Audrey Makope won the 60-meter dash in 7.77 seconds, 0.01 seconds shy of tying the St. Norbert record.

Graceanne Tarsa was second in the 800-meter run in 2:17.91, while Kelley Gardipee was third in 2:18.37.

Savanna Smith was seventh in the shot put at 40 feet 7 1/2 inches.

The Green Knights finished seventh out of 15 teams with 37 points.
