St. Norbert Finishes Third at Rose-Hulman Early Bird

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - St. Norbert College began its outdoor season with a third-place finish at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Early Bird Meet.

The Green Knights totaled 83 points, while Rose-Hulman won with 215 points and Baldwin Wallace University was second with 85 points.

Sam Stelloh won the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.69 seconds and also won the 400-meter hurdles in 56.79 seconds. Jaxsen Schermacher won the pole vault by clearing a height of 14 feet 6 inches.

Max Schermacher was second in the javelin throw at 149-3 and was sixth in the pole vault at 13-6 1/4.

Adam Weigman was third in the 100-meter dash in 11.33 seconds, while Nic Greenlaw was sixth in 11.40 seconds.

Karter Decker was third in the triple jump at 41-8 1/2 and eighth in the long jump at 19-8. Samuel Fletcher was fourth in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:01.32, was fourth in the triple jump at 41-2 1/4 and sixth in the long jump at 19-11.

Ryan Priebe was fifth in the javelin throw with a distance of 139-9. Travis Heschke was sixth in the triple jump at 39-6 and Braxton Thompson seventh in the triple jump at 38-2 3/4.

Greg Bernasek was eighth in the 400-meter dash in 54.01 seconds.
