St. Norbert Ends Trip Against Elmhurst

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - St. Norbert College closed out its annual Florida trip with a 10-1 loss to Elmhurst College at Chain of Lakes Park.

The Green Knights (5-6) committed three errors leading to six unearned runs for the Bluejays. Elmhurst held a 2-0 lead going to the seventh inning before scoring three times each in the seventh and eighth innings and twice in the ninth inning.

St. Norbert scored its lone run in the seventh inning. Griffin Jack led off the inning with a single and stole second base with one out. After advancing to third on an Elmhurst error, Jack scored on Sean Ferraro's fielder's choice grounder.

Jack was 2-for-4 with a double to lead the St. Norbert offense. Tommy Maher took the loss, working the first six inning allowing two runs - both unearned - with one walk and one strikeout.
