GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College picked up its first Midwest Conference dual win of the season with a 7-2 victory over Illinois College at Western Racquet & Fitness Club.

The Green Knights picked up two doubles points to take the early lead. Luke Andrekus and Alex Vandenberg defeated the Blueboys' Cameron Doerr and Jonah Wheeland 8-5 at No. 2, while Matt La Violette and Jordan Crump edged Jacob McQueen and Connor McAndrew at No. 3.

St. Norbert (4-8, 1-1 MWC) then won five of the six singles matches to hand Illinois College (6-7, 3-1) its first conference loss. La Violette rallied past Wheeland 1-6, 7-6, 10-5 at No. 2, followed by a 6-3, 7-5 win for Andrekus over Michael Connolly at No. 3.

Vandenberg topped Doerr 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4, and Crump bested McQueen 6-3, 6-3 at No. 5. Porter Beilfuss routed McAndrew 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6.
