Green Knights Battle Conditions at Wartburg

WAVERLY, Iowa - St. Norbert College battled tough conditions as the Green Knights competed at the Wartburg College Spring Invite at a windswept Prairie Links Golf Course.

The Green Knights finished 11th out of 14 teams, covering the 36-hole event with a 329-322--651. Des Moines Area Community College won the team title with a 286-298--584. Southwestern Community College's Reinhardt Saunderson was the medalist with a 3-under par 73-68--141. A total of 88 golfers competed.

Evan Van Enkevort led St. Norbert with a tie for 31st place, finishing with a 77-80--157. Jonathan Cone finished in a tie for 39th place with a 79-81--160.

Dale Sinclair finished in a tie for 51st place with scores of 84-80--164. Jack Markham finished in 65th place with an 89-81--170, while Jack Lund placed 73rd with a 91-87--178.
