St. Norbert Wins Marian Invitational

FOND DU LAC - St. Norbert College opened up the spring portion of its schedule by winning the team championship of the Marian University Spring Invitational at Whispering Springs Golf Club.

The Green Knights finished the 36-hole tournament with a team score of 376-367--743 to finish four strokes ahead of UW-Platteville's 372-375--747. Platteville's Alyssa Elko was the medalist with an 83-91--174. A total of four full teams and 24 golfers competed.

Taylor Obry finished second, seven strokes off the pace with a 90-91--181. Amy Holzer tied for fourth place with an 88-96--184, while Kayley Sjoholm was seventh with a 97-89--186.

Elizabeth Bobinski placed ninth with a 102-91--193. Lucca Kenyon was 15th with a 101-106--207, while Madelyn Cole was 16th with a 107-102--209.
