Green Knights Swept By UW-Stevens Point

DE PERE - St. Norbert College lost a non-conference doubleheader to UW-Stevens Point by scores of 9-1 and 6-0 at Miron Construction Field at Mel Nicks Sports Complex.

The Green Knights (16-12) trailed the Pointers 2-0 in the fifth inning of the opener when Alyssa Sikora hit a deep home run to left field to trim the deficit to 2-1. Stevens Point answered with two runs in the sixth inning and then broke the game open in the seventh with five runs.

Emma Molenhouse took the loss, allowing 11 hits with one walk and one strikeout. St. Norbert was held to five hits.

In the nightcap, the Pointers scored twice in the third inning and four times in the fifth inning to pull away. The Green Knights were held to two hits. Ellie Olsen took the loss, allowing nine hits 4 1/3 innings
