DE PERE - St. Norbert College gained a split with UW-Oshkosh in a non-conference doubleheader at Miron Construction Field at Mel Nicks Sports Complex, losing the opener 1-0 before bouncing back to take the nightcap 4-0.

In the nightcap, St. Norbert jumped out to an early lead when Allison Knop tripled with one out and scored on Carley Frauenhoff's grounder. The Green Knights added a pair of runs in the second inning. Alyssa Sikora led off with a double and Taylor Ullman walked to lead off the inning. After a pair of outs were recorded, Brianna Braeger ripped a double to score both runners for a 3-0 lead.

St. Norbert tacked on an insurance run in the fourth inning on a solo home run by Sikora. Oshkosh would get a pair of baserunners in the sixth inning but couldn't push a run across.

Sikora finished 3-for-3, adding a pair of doubles in addition to her home run. Braeger and Knop were both 2-for-4. Ellie Olsen and Morgyn Zielke combined for the shutout. Olsen worked the first four innings, allowing five hits. Zielke went the final three innings and yielded two hits.

Oshkosh scored the only run in the opener on a sacrifice fly. The Green Knights' best scoring chance came in the fourth inning when they left the bases loaded.

St. Norbert had four hits in the first game. Emma Molenhouse took the hard-luck loss, allowing five hits in four-plus innings pitched.
