St. Norbert Season Ends in MWC Semifinals

MADISON - St. Norbert College was eliminated from the Midwest Conference Tournament with a 5-0 semifinal loss to Lake Forest College at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

The Green Knights' Hannah Swajanen and Hannah Keller lost to Allison Watts and Tyranny Miller 8-2 at No. 2 doubles, followed by Lauren Paulson and Claire Hetzel dropping an 8-2 decisions at No. 1 to Julie Lord and Leeza Bodnar. Anja Jacobsen and Nicole Pfotenhauer lost 8-3 to Tebatso Duba and Emma Wang at No. 3.

Paulson fell in a 6-1, 6-0 outcome to Lord at No. 1 singles, while Swajanen lost a 6-2, 6-0 match to Watts at No. 2. The other four matches were halted and unfinished once a team result was reached.

St. Norbert ends the season 11-15 overall.
