St. Norbert Drops One-Goal Decision at Carleton

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Norbert College concluded its two-match trip against Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opposition with a 2-1 loss to Carleton College in a non-conference game at Bell Field.

The Green Knights trailed 1-0 at halftime after Carleton's Madeline Marker scored at the 25:35 mark. St. Norbert would respond early in the second half to knot the score 1-1 when Katelyn Kane registered her first collegiate goal off an Enya Horgan assist at 48:27.

Carleton would score the eventual game-winning goal at 66:54 on a marker by Rainey Tilley.

Carleton held a 15-7 edge in shot and a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks. Ava Seifert made two saves for the Green Knights, while Anna Roethler made four stops for Carleton.
