St. Norbert Splits Matches Against WIAC Foes

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College split a pair of hard-fought non-conference matches against Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes, losing 3-2 to UW-Stevens Point and beating UW-Oshkosh 3-1 at the UW-Stevens Point Double Dual.

The Green Knights (6-4) dropped a tough 25-21, 16-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-10 decision to the Pointers before bouncing back to trip the Titans 17-25, 25-23, 25-19, 27-25.

St. Norbert led Oshkosh 24-22 in the fourth set before the Titans scored the next three points, but the Green Knights answered with three points of their own to seal the match. Emily Terry started the rally with a kill, followed with a pair of kills by Colleen DeLisle to clinch the win.

Grace Baumann had 15 kills, 14 digs and three service aces for the Green Knights, who hit .168 (47-23-143). Terry added 12 kills and 10 digs, while DeLisle had eight kills with no errors in 23 attempts. Emily Rohloff had 40 assists and 10 digs. Liz Maastricht led the defense with 23 digs.

St. Norbert hit .189 (59-25-180) against the Pointers. Baumann had 19 kills, while Terry had 15 kills and Lexie Van Hiel 11 kills. Rohloff finished with 46 assists.

Maastricht turned in 27 digs to lead all players, while Terry and Baumann had 17 and 13 digs, respectively. Van Hiel had seven blocks, while Rohloff added five.
