Late Goal Pushes St. Norbert Past MSOE

MILWAUKEE - St. Norbert College got a goal in the game's final six minutes to lift the Green Knights to a 1-0 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering in a non-conference match at Viets Field.

Lisa Beine scored on a redirection out front at the 84:09 mark for the Green Knights, who improved to 3-5 on the season. Ashley Brooks was credited with the assist for St. Norbert, which played its seventh one-goal game of the year.

MSOE outshot St. Norbert (3-5) by a 14-9 count, but corner kicks were even at four apiece.

Ally Magiera made eight saves for St. Norbert to post her first shutout of the season. Allison Lessila and Tamryn Syron combined to make five saves for the Raiders.
