Green Knights Pull Away From Saints

DULUTH, Minn. - St. Norbert College had a solid offensive output as the Green Knights rolled to a 3-1 win over College of St. Scholastica in a non-conference match at Saints Field.

The Green Knights (5-1-1) held a 1-0 lead at halftime before getting a pair of second-half goals to close out the win.

Mitchell Scholz put St. Norbert ahead with a goal at the 33:07 mark off an assist from Seth Boldt.

Max Censky gave St. Norbert a two-goal lead with a goal at 50:42, his first of the season, while Scholz assisted. St. Scholastica cut into its deficit with a goal in the 73rd minute, but Scholz salted the win away with a goal at 82:54, his third of the season. Anthony Pineda and Brandon DiOrio both assisted.

St. Norbert outshot St. Scholastica 14-10 and held a 7-3 edge in corner kicks. Josh Koleske did not see a shot in goal during the first half, while Matt Pilewski made one save in the second half for the Green Knights.
