DE PERE - St. Norbert College picked up its first Midwest Conference win on the season with a solid 3-0 win over Lawrence University at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights took control early, getting a pair of goals in the first minutes to improve to 5-8 overall and 1-3 in the MWC.

St. Norbert got on the board at the 7:43 mark when Anna Tristani gook a pass from Anja Jacobson and slipped behind the Lawrence defense, converting an uncontested shot for her first goal of the season. Just 59 seconds later, Emily Gorzlancyk was fouled in the penalty area and then converted the penalty kick, also her first goal of the season.

The Green Knights extended their lead when Emily Names scored her third goal of the season after ripping a 20-yard shot off a feed from Tristani at 51:33.

St. Norbert outshot the Vikings 16-4 and held a 4-2 edge in corner kicks. Ally Magiera made four saves in just over 72 minutes of work, while Ava Seifert finished up and did not see a shot. Sarah Yochem made five saves for Lawrence.
