Green Knights Run to Wisconsin Private College Championship

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College claimed its first Wisconsin Private College Championship meet title since 2013 with a strong performance at Colburn Park.

The Green Knights totaled 34 points, gaining seven of the top 11 individual finishers. St. Norbert finished well ahead of runner-up Ripon College's 60 points. Wisconsin Lutheran College finished a distant third with 114 points. Maranatha Baptist University's Jeremy Fopma topped a field of 54 finishers to win the individual title with a time of 26:28 in the 8-kilomter event.

Matt Holloway was St. Norbert's top finisher, posting a fourth-place finish in 27:29. Randy Johnson was sixth in 27:44, while Matthew McKendry placed seventh in 27:58.

Connor Sisel finished in eighth place at 28:02, followed by Miles Mulder in ninth at 28:07. Aaron Mickelson earned 10th place with a time of 28:07, followed by Peyton Janto in 11th place at 28:10.
