Tristani's Natural Hat Trick Paces St. Norbert

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - St. Norbert College enjoyed its biggest offensive output of the season with a 6-0 win over Illinois College in a Midwest Conference match at Englund Stadium.

The Green Knights (6-8, 2-3 MWC) got a natural hat trick from Anna Tristani, who pushed St. Norbert's lead from 1-0 to 4-0.

Enya Horgan scored her first goal of the season with a marker exactly 10 minutes into the game, finishing off an assist from Hanna Lech. Tristani then scored off an assist from Emily Names for a 2-0 lead at 28:14 that the Green Knights would take into halftime.

Tristani then finished a passing combination with assists going to Names and Cara Donegan at the 50:36 mark. Tristani then posted her team-high fourth goal of the season with her third consecutive score, finishing at 66:21 with Emily Gorzlancyk assisting.

Lech scored at 68:03 off a Horgan assist, while Donegan scored unassisted at 80:58 for the final tally. The goals were the second of the season for both players.

St. Norbert outshot Illinois College 39-5 and held a 9-0 edge in corner kicks. Ally Magiera made three saves for St. Norbert in 62:27 of work, while Ava Seifert made one stop in 27:33 of relief. Charlotte Crofton made 12 saves for the Lady Blues.
